California Almond Growers Survey

Surveys were distributed to 1800 randomly-selected California alomnd growers, and 540 growers responded (30%). The information, summarized here in a series of charts, presents grower practices and concerns with respect to tree nutrition, fertilization, tissue sampling, use of UC critical values, irrigation practice, including fertigation, and future practices.

On one of your typical almond orchards, how often are soil samples collected? If you answered "never" why aren't soil samples collected on your orchards?
