California Pistachio Growers Survey

Surveys were distributed to 300 California pistachio growers, and 110 growers responded (36.7%). The information, summarized here in a series of charts, presents grower practices and concerns with respect to tree nutrition, fertilization, tissue sampling, use of UC critical values, irrigation practice, including fertigation, and future practices.

Grower Demographics Age of pistachio growers. Generations that growers' families have grown pistachios. Counties in which the growers have pistachio production. Total acres per county in pistachio production by combined growers. Total acres in each pistachio tree age range.
