California Pistachio Growers Survey

Surveys were distributed to 300 California pistachio growers, and 110 growers responded (36.7%). The information, summarized here in a series of charts, presents grower practices and concerns with respect to tree nutrition, fertilization, tissue sampling, use of UC critical values, irrigation practice, including fertigation, and future practices.

Tissue Sampling On one of your typical pistachio orchards, how often are plant tissue samples collected for nutrition diagnosis? If you answered "never" or "less than once per year" why don't you collect plant tissue samples more often?
